Family-friendly hotel in Tällberg

At Gyllene Hornet there are activities for the whole family to enjoy. For children, the large swimming pool and gymnastics hall are big favourites. There is space to socialise and room for play, both for young and old..

Large pool & sauna

The pool is a full 20 metres long, so there is plenty of room to swim and play. For the youngest children, there is a small shallow pool to splash in. In summer, you can sit down in a sun lounger just outside the pool. There are men's and women's saunas next to the pool.

Gymnastics hall for team sports

Not many hotels can boast their own gymnastics hall - but we can! Here you can play floorball, basketball or gymnastics. Or why not build an obstacle course with the equipment where the children can run off. In front of the mirror wall, courses can be held in dance and fitness, for example.

Table tennis, billiards, board games and big-screen TV

In our lounge/lobby there are comfortable seating areas and here we serve welcome coffee. There is also billiards, board games and big screen TV. A playroom and a small pool table for our younger guests are located downstairs.

Mini golf in summer

Our own miniature golf course is located just outside the hotel. Who will be the miniature golf champion in your group?

Outdoor activities

Discover our outdoor activities at Gyllene Hornet! In our hotel area there is something for all ages and interests. For tennis enthusiasts, there is a tennis court with a magnificent view of the hotel and Lake Siljan, and for children, there is a batting cage that provides opportunities for play and adventure. For those who love boules, we have a nice boules court where you can challenge family and friends to a nice match. When the snow falls, the area is transformed into a winter paradise, where sledges and kickers are ready for days filled with snow games.

Hike in the forests of Tällberg

Just outside the hotel, a hiking trail passes through the village. Balance on footbridges over streams, watch ants and hug a tree. A map of the hiking trails is available at reception.
